Bucknell University

Overlooking the Susquehanna River, Bucknell University was founded in 1846 by Pennsylvania Baptists. Originally known as the University at Lewisburg, it was renamed Bucknell University after it's benefactor, William Bucknell. The Ellen Clarke Bertrand Library, which serves as the center for information services, was constructed in 1951.
