"Buffalo Seminary"

Originally known as The Buffalo Female Academy when it opened in 1851, it is the oldest girls school in WNY. The name was revised to the Buffalo Seminary in 1889. The current home of the school at Bidwell Parkway and Potomac Avenue was built in 1908.
