Slippery Rock University

Originally known as Slippery Rock State Normal School in 1889, the school became Slippery Rock State College in 1960. It became part of the Pennsylvania University system in 1983. Old Main, the oldest building on the campus, was built in 1893. It houses the office of the President as well as other administrative functions.
